Saturday, November 1

I totally hate that saying. But needed to come up with a catchy
Halloween-ey blog post title, so there you go.
This year was very surprising for us - where Garrin was concerned. He was
so into everything about Halloween. He - no lie - would ask every night to go
to the Halloween store. And we took him. He also really liked being a pirate.
Not so much the eye patch and earring - which he didn't like wearing, but
had no problem keeping the scarf on his head. He won't EVER let us put a hat on him.

As you have imagined I just love Halloween and we spent two very
full days of celebrations.
Thursday Garrin had a class party. So very very cute. And then Thursday night
our swim team held their annual Halloween Carnival. The one and only picture I got of Connor was from that night.

This is my Halloween Village (that is may be bigger than my Christmas one, by now) and takes me 2 full days to put up. That bad boy is staying up through November so I can enjoy the labor-intensive love I put into assembling it.

Then, last night, we threw a big bash at our house.
I don't know who had more fun.

The kids:

or the adults:

A great night to dress up, eat a lot, and hang out outside
by the fire with a bunch of friends.
Oh well. Time to change the blog design.
