A Tag

I was tagged a few days ago and am finally getting around to doing this little bit of further information about myself for all my many, many fans out there.

(Hellooooo, out there.....helloooo, out there....)
Did you just hear an echo?

Anyway.

Question one: What was I doing 10 years ago?

I don't know what I did yesterday, but I will give it a shot.

Wow, 10 years ago, I had an 11 month old baby, named Hannah, and we were just gearing up and planning her 1st birthday. Holy crapola!
We lived in CT, way back then, in an old historic home in Suffield on the CT River. I must admit it was one of the nicest places we had lived. I was semi-retired (I wrote that for you, Christopher) from my JOB. Yes folks, I had a job. Actually I owned a flower shop, which I had closed a few months before giving birth. I kept the business name and operated as a freelance business, keeping all of my large accounts and doing weddings and parties only. There was an attached carriage house to the house we rented, so I set up shop there. So being that is was June, 10 years ago, I was probably busy doing weddings as well.
Below is the actual artwork from my business cards and correspondence.

Wow, that brings me WAY BACK.

Question two: 5 things on my to-do list for today:

(because if it were, say the whole week, it would be more like the 386 things on my to-do list)
Back to the list:

Go to store to buy lots of ice and bring 100 water bottles to school for graduation.
Attend and try to keep Garrin occupied at said graduation for 2 (two), count them 1, 2 hours!
Take our graduated daughter to lunch to the Elephant Bar where she can ditch us 'cause her friends are all there spend quality parent/child time.
Bring back to school so she can party like it's 1999. (man that song is out of date now, huh?).
Get her snapped back into reality, and get her to the pool for workout.

Question three: Snacks I enjoy

fresh fruit
soy bars
granola/trail mix

OK, who am I kidding.

Oreos
Cheez-Its
Popcorn
Salt&Vinegar Chips
Flamin' hot Cheetos
Snyder's Buffalo Pretzel Pieces

Question four: Things I would do if I were a billionaire.

Get out of debt free - Do not pass Go - Do not collect $100
Buy numerous vacation homes.
Have massive amounts of plastic surgery so I can stop dieting/working out.
Buy my kids anything they want (oh, I do that now - maybe that's why I need a get-out-of-debt-free card).
Pay for my kids to have a great college education.
Stop worrying.
Travel to poor countries and volunteer time to help in whatever small way I could to make a difference.
Did I mention vacation homes....such as on this island of Tortola???

And lastly, Question five: Places I have lived.
Oshawa, Ontario, Canada for a very, very, very short time.......
Hartford, CT
East Hartford, CT
Ashford, CT
Rockville, CT
Manchester, CT
Wethersfield, CT
Suffield, CT
Henderson, NV
(I think...)

That's it folks.......Thank you very much.
I'll be here all week....
Thank you.

YAY!! I've missed you! Wow--remember that wedding I helped you and Chris with? That was the start of it all. "Memories, . . ." And Hannah at 11 months--OMG she was a cutie patootie.

Great responses - it's about time! Just kidding!

Man, do I miss having a sister who has a flower shop...nothing quite like the smell of that place.

I always thought a flower shop would be great too. I just couldn't get my arms around working so many week ends. When Danielle was little she used to tell us she was going to owne her own flower "shap and she was going to name it My Own Flower Shop". This was in first grade.
