A good thing

Looking at the size of this hand, you would think that this was Connor or maybe even Hannah. Well, not Hannah, because she bites her nails. But no - this is my 2 year old........holding a computer mouse!

When we got back home after dropping the kids off at school, Garrin and I spent some time on Noggin.com and played around a bit. He was sitting on my lap but soon grew tired of that. He whined for me to let him sit by himself and then...

...just started playing on the computer by himself! He has mastered the mouse. Oh my God.

He is engrossed in a Diego matching game.
For some, this may not be good - plopping their kid in front of the computer, but last night Bill and I watched in amazement as he played. Having a kid with a speech delay - you really don't know how much they are absorbing, because they can't verbalize it - but he was matching colors, playing bingo, and was quite good at a little game similar to Bejeweled.
Only bad thing though, now he cuts into MY COMPUTER TIME!!!! grrrr....
