Startled

Yeah, that is the word I would use to describe yesterday's incident.

So, Bill and I are driving down a four lane road in my EXPEDITION, to check out a rock company. (They sell big 'ol rocks here in the desert). I am talking to my brother on my BLACKBERRY. I had seen the METRO cop in my rear view mirror and I made sure I wasn't speeding.

I was 1/2 paying attention to were I was going and 1/2 paying attention to talking to Chris. I thought I needed to get into the right lane to make a turn that was coming up. So right after I CHANGED LANES....

........the Metro cop yelled at me from his MEGAPHONE...

"If you weren't talking on your cell phone, you would have been able to use your signal to change lanes".

That just about scared the crap outta me. Needless to say, I took a right and had to compose myself to continue driving.............and talking to my brother on my cell phone.

I'm sorry but that is pretty OUTSTANDING. I wish I had a mega phone, I'd be yelling on that thing all day long...followed by DUMB A$$ of course! The turn signal failer IS a huge pet peeve of mine so I for one hope you learned a valuable lesson...haha!

NICE! I hope you aren't a regular non-signal user. I'll have to put you under citizen's arrest!
